Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced an uptick on Monday, closing with a gain of 52.34 points, or 0.54 percent, reaching a total of 9,740.64 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed the trading of 152,887,763 shares, which amounted to a turnover of QAR 354,207,760.566 across 20,176 transactions covering all sectors. Out of the traded companies, the shares of 27 advanced, 19 saw a decline, and six companies' shares remained unchanged.
The market capitalization saw an increase, rising to QAR 587,243,118,389.228 from QAR 583,351,549,550.752 recorded in the previous session.
