QSE Index Opens Lower Amid Sectoral Declines

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 45.74 points, or 0.45%, at the start of Thursday's trading, dropping to 10,009 points due to pressure from most sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated an increase in the Real Estate sector by 0.26%, while other sectors experienced declines. The Banks and Financial Services sector decreased by 0.03%, Transportation by 0.06%, Insurance by 0.25%, Telecoms by 0.25%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.52%, and Industrials by 1.77%.

By 10:00 am, the market recorded a turnover of QR 393.423 million, with 104,531 million shares traded across 3,497 transactions, as reported by QSE data.
