QSE Index Opens Higher at Start of Monday’s Trading

Doha: The QSE general index increased by 12.19 points, or 0.12%, at the start of Monday's trading, rising to 9,967 points, supported by two sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data indicated gains in the sectors of Telecoms, which rose by 0.36%, and Banks and Financial Services, which increased by 0.26%. However, performance was negative for several sectors, including Industrials, which declined by 0.11%, Real Estate by 0.13%, Transportation by 0.32%, and Insurance by 0.84%. The Consumer Goods and Services sector remained unchanged.

At approximately 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 4,383 transactions worth QR 58.989 million, involving 26.272 million shares.
