Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index decreased by 25.02 points, or 0.25 percent, closing Monday's trading session at 9,823.93 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 107,805,359 shares exchanged, with a total value of QAR 289,330,307.192, spread over 17,498 transactions across all sectors.

In Monday's session, shares of 20 companies advanced, while 26 companies experienced a decline, and seven companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the close of trading was QAR 592,599,871,953.496, down from QAR 594,010,560,125.764 at the end of the previous session.
