Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 16.11 points, or 0.15%, at the start of trading on Monday, down to the level of 10,598 points, compared to Sunday's closing. The index was weighed down by a decline in Insurance by 0.63%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.41%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.35%; Real Estate by 0.07% and Industrials by 0.01%. On the other hand, the index saw a rise in Transportation by 0.31%, and Telecoms by 0.21%. By 10:00 am, 13.503 million shares were traded in 1,586 transactions valued QR 35.736 million.
