Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Wednesday, recording a gain of 69.01 points, or 0.71 percent, to reach 9,854.1 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 135,768,211 shares exchanged, resulting in a turnover of QAR 330,219,714.864 across 23,619 transactions encompassing all sectors. During the session, the shares of 33 companies showed an increase, while 12 companies saw a decline. The shares of 8 companies remained unchanged.
Market capitalization experienced a rise, moving to QAR 592,195,036,280.086 from QAR 588,205,232,715.102 noted in the previous session.
