Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced a positive close on Wednesday, rising by 104.45 points or 0.94 percent, to settle at 11,226.03 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the exchange of 243,650,118 shares, amounting to a total value of QR 587,614,626.399, conducted through 30,642 transactions spanning all sectors. During the session, 39 companies saw an increase in their share prices, 10 experienced a decline, and three companies maintained their previous closing prices.

Market capitalization increased by the end of the trading session, reaching QR 671,953,535,832.370, up from QR 666,008,469,095.799 recorded in the previous session.
