Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed at 9,622.96 points on Wednesday, 4.39 points (0.05 percent) up from its previous closing.

A trading volume of 249,057,570 shares was traded in 22,611 transactions in all sectors, with a total trading value of QR 685,282,222.324.

The prices of 28 companies went up and those of 18 declined, while three companies maintained their previous closing price.

The market capitalization closed at QR 561,79,982,661.630 compared to QR 560,314,870,711.500 in the previous session.
