DOHA — The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed higher today, marking an increase of 0.43 percent, or 40.21 points, ending at 9,359.51 points.

According to a new release by Qatar News Agency, during the session, a total of 209,663,345 shares changed hands, representing a value of QR 465,179,483.446. The session saw the completion of 15,276 transactions across various sectors. While the stock prices of 21 companies rose, 24 companies experienced a dip in their stock prices, and two companies’ stock prices remained unchanged. Market capitalization by the end of the session stood at QR 550,276,571,168.50, slightly lower than the previous session’s QR 550,490,770,492.720.
