Qatar Chamber has called for enhancing cooperation ties between the Turkish Independent Industrialists and Businessmens Association (MUSIAD), especially in organizing events and conferences, thereby enhancing cooperation ties between Qatari and Turkish businessmen.
This came during a meeting held between HE Qatar Chamber First Vice Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari and Chairman of Diplomatic Relations Commission at the Independent Industrialists and Businessmens Association of Turkiye (MUSIAD) Osman Nuri Onugoren.
The meeting deliberated upon means to strengthen the bilateral relations between both sides and the importance to activate cooperation between both entities.
Addressing the meeting, Bin Twar stressed the close relations between Qatar and Turkiye, and their cooperation in many fields, especially in economic and commercial aspects, noting that the two countries trade volume reached QR 8.1 billion compared to QR 6.9 billion in 2021.
He noted that Turkiye is an attractive investment destination, indicating that Qatari businessmen are eager to invest there and establish commercial alliances with their Turkish counterparts.
