According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani headed Qatar's delegation at the Lake Lucerne Summit and the first High-Level Committee meeting, with the Qatari-Pakistani mediation contributing to progress between the United States and Iran.

The newspaper considered this agreement a new diplomatic achievement, adding to Qatar's successful record in supporting dialogue and de-escalation. Qatar's efforts in dialogue have created common ground, leading to a memorandum of understanding and opening new horizons for the region.
