Doha: Al-Raya newspaper emphasized Qatar's leadership in promoting integrity and transparency and combating corruption through its Administrative Control and Transparency Authority. Qatar's participation in the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the establishment of an annual award named after HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani aims to raise awareness about anti-corruption measures and honor exceptional initiatives in this field.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar has strengthened its international standing by enhancing institutional frameworks, supporting international cooperation, and consolidating good governance principles. This contributes to effective policies for preventing and combating corruption. Qatar is also hosting the Sixth Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Arab Convention Against Corruption, chaired by HE Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, Hamad bin Nasser Al Misnad, from Sept. 21-23.

Al-Arab newspaper highlighted the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs' cultural and training programs, which develop Qatari calligraphy talent through the Al-Raqim competition. These programs include courses focused on mastering Naskh calligraphy rules and techniques, combining Arab art authenticity with contemporary creativity demands.

Meanwhile, the Peninsula newspaper highlighted Qatar's role as a global sports hub. Doha is set to host major international sporting events, including the Qatar Classic squash championship, MotoGP, Formula 1 races, and the FIFA U-17 World Cup from November 19 to December 13. These events will bring a diverse range of sports and international audiences to the capital, reinforcing Qatar's status as a leading sports destination.
