Baghdad, The Qatari team coach, Bruno Pinheiro, said that we are proud of what we presented in the tournament and we worked hard, but Iraq took advantage of the opportunities and won the match.
Pinheiro added in the press conference that followed the Iraq-Qatar match: “The confrontation with Iraq was difficult for the two teams, and the Iraqi players were able to invest in opportunities after they dismantled our defenses.”
He added: “We are proud of what we presented in the tournament, and sometimes football will not give you what it offers on the field and we worked hard, but Iraq took advantage of the opportunities and won the match, adding that the Iraqi fans were the reason for the success of the tournament and were supportive of their team and greatly influenced the morale of the Iraqi players.”
