On the regional front, the newspapers cited a United Nations report on Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip, urging more decisive international intervention.

Al-Raya newspaper focused on Qatar's attention to disability rights through a comprehensive system of policies, legislation, and strategies. Highlighting Qatar's ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2008, the newspaper noted the country's commitment to equality, nondiscrimination, and active participation.
