The Qatar Volleyball Federation (QVA) held its annual meeting on Monday to discuss several important topics including the referees.
The meeting was attended by QVA’s President Ali Ghanim Al Kuwari, committee members and referees working in the QVAs competitions for the new season 2023-2024.
QVA previously announced that the matches in the first phase of the men’s league for the 2023-2024 season will start on November 15 till December 27, while the competitions of the second phase will begin on January 7 and conclude on March 23 of next year.
On the first day of the league, Al Rayyan will face Al Sadd, while Al Arabi will face Al Shamal. On the second day (November 16), Al Shorta will face Al Wakrah, while Al Qatar will face Al Khor. The week’s matches, concluding on November 17, will see Al Ahli facing Al Gharafa.
QVA also confirmed that the qualifying matches for the Amir Cup will be held from March 27 to April 7 with the final competitions of the tournament being from May 11 to 24. It also announced the schedule for women’s junior and youth competitions.
