Manama-Qatar men’s youth handball team will take on Iraq on Tuesday in their third match at 2022 Asian Championship currently held in Bahrain and set to run through August 31.
Team Qatar began their campaign in the event with a 36-22 victory over UAE, but they went down fighting against Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Also, on Tuesday Kuwait will clash with Saudi Arabia and Japan will face the UAE in Group B, while in Group A South Korea and Iran will shake hands with India and Uzbekistan respectively.
The top five teams from the event will directly qualify for the 2023 IHF Men’s Youth (U19) World Championship, which will be held in Croatia in 2023.
