Doha: The Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation convened its Ordinary General Assembly to discuss plans for the 2026 season, focusing on youth development and athlete preparation. The assembly also reviewed ongoing competitions and tournaments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was led by Nasser bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi, president of the federation, and included the participation of all members along with a representative from the Qatar Olympic Committee. Al Khelaifi expressed appreciation for the support shown by attendees, emphasizing the assembly's role in assessing current performance and directing future growth across sports including tennis, squash, padel, and badminton.

The gathering examined the technical and administrative report for the 2025-2026 period, underscoring significant domestic and international events. Discussions centered on talent development, coaching, and refereeing programs, as well as strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing the federation's overall sporting performance.
