Doha:According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatar Stock Exchange index rose by 0.24% in early trading on Sunday, increasing by 22.58 points to reach 9500, with all sectors experiencing gains.
The Consumer Goods and Services sector led the growth with a 0.55% rise, followed by the Insurance sector at 0.38%. Other sectors, including Industrials and Telecoms, both rose by 0.18%, while Transportation increased by 0.17%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.16%, and Real Estate by 0.15%.
By 10:00 am, the trading volume had reached 16.593 million shares, with a turnover amounting to QR 36.874 million, spread across 2258 transactions.
