Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading session down by 56.68 points, or 0.55 percent, to settle at 10,335.86 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 130,699,755 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 335,000,006.472 executed through 19,367 transactions across all sectors. The trading session saw the shares of 31 companies advancing, while 18 companies experienced a decline. The shares of three companies remained unchanged.

The market capitalization at the close of trading stood at QAR 622,503,446,556.366, a decrease from QAR 625,415,877,306.634 recorded in the previous session.
