Qatar Sports For All Federation Launches Partnership Program with Tariq Bin Ziad School


Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFA) has launched a cooperation and partnership program with Tariq Bin Ziad elementary school, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), within the school visits plan organized by QSFA to expand societal sports activities during the whole academic year.



The training program includes Muay Thai sport, football, jogging and a wide range of recreational activities aimed at developing students’ capabilities, unlocking their skills, and encouraging them to constantly practice sports.



QSFA Director of Events and Activities Abdullah Al Dosari affirmed that cooperation with Tariq Bin Ziad school comes within the QSFA’s strategy that aims to propagate the culture of sports in all sections and community segments.



The primary objective is to have a generation that believes in sports with the necessary continuation of sports and physical activities to strengthen societal health, Al Dosari said.



He added that the cooperation expands the success opportunities for QSFA’s plans and achieves its objectives through activating these activities, particularly school football league that support sports sector through discovering the talents.



Meanwhile, QSFA continued its field trips to schools and carried out a new tour to Tariq Bin Ziad elementary school within the activities of QSFA’s sports league that includes several schools in the southern, northern, and central regions for both genders.



The events featured the participation of 150 students from both genders held under the supervision of professional trainers with the participation of six teams for boys, while contests among girls were held between two teams only.



Following the end of the matches, the organizing committee crowned the winning teams with cups and medals, as well as honoring the participants with incentive awards.



The tournament contests will run for three weeks through three separate tournaments covering the aforementioned regions to ensure reaching out to pupils from both genders in schools. (QNA)
