The State of Qatar participated in the 120th meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari represented the State of Qatar at the meeting.

During the meeting, Their Excellencies the Ministers discussed various topics related to the results of the 81st meeting of the Committee of Central Banks Governors of the GCC, the results of the 38th meeting of the GCC Common Market Committee, the proposed governance for the following up and implementing decisions, and a number of topics on the agenda.

The meeting also discussed the importance of the GCC countries continuing to keep pace with current financial and economic developments and challenges at the regional and international levels while transforming these efforts and achievements in a direct way that supports and enhances the process of joint economic action in the Gulf region. In addition, the meeting discussed the dates of
the next meetings of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee and the Undersecretaries of Ministries of Finance Committee for 2024.
