Qatar: Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has revealed plans to provide urgent relief to families impacted by the recent military escalation in Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the assistance will be facilitated through QFFD's partners, Qatar Charity (QC) and the Qatar Red Crescent (QRCS), aiming to support over 40,500 displaced families in southern Lebanon, as well as Beirut's southern suburbs and parts of the Bekaa Valley.

The aid will include the distribution of more than 12,000 food baskets and a variety of essential non-food items, such as blankets, mattresses, hygiene supplies, diapers, and essential household items. In addition to these, hygiene kits containing crucial personal and household sanitation supplies are set to be distributed to those in need.

This relief effort is part of Qatar's ongoing commitment to humanitarian assistance, reflecting its dedication to aiding affected communities worldwide, particularly in times of crisis and humanitarian emergencies.
