Qatar Establishes Comprehensive Hajj Mission for 1447 AH Season

Doha: HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim has announced a ministerial decision to establish the Qatari Hajj Mission for the 1447 AH (2026 CE) Hajj season. This initiative is part of Qatar's ongoing commitment to facilitate a secure and comfortable pilgrimage for its citizens.

According to Qatar News Agency, the decision places HE the Minister at the helm of the Qatari Hajj Mission, with Ali bin Sultan Al Musaifri, Director of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Department, appointed as Deputy Head. The mission's structure includes representatives from key ministries and national institutions like the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Health, and the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, ensuring seamless coordination to serve Qatari pilgrims efficiently.

The ministerial decision also mandates the formation of an advisory committee and specialized administrative and technical units within a comprehensive organizational framework. These units aim to deliver services to Qatari pilgrims with high standards of quality and professionalism.

An official media delegation, which includes representatives from Qatar News Agency, Qatar TV, Al Rayyan TV, and Qatar Radio, will accompany the Qatari Hajj Mission. This delegation is tasked with extensively covering the mission's activities and documenting the journey of Qatari pilgrims, highlighting Qatar's efforts to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

The integrated structure reflects the Ministry's commitment to enhancing both field and administrative performance through a unified operational system. This system ensures oversight of all organizational and service-related aspects for Qatari pilgrims, aiming for the highest standards of safety and comfort in coordination with Saudi authorities.

Support units of the Qatari Hajj Mission have already begun their duties, with teams arriving in Saudi Arabia as per their assigned responsibilities. These teams are preparing the pilgrims' camps in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah, and finalizing healthcare arrangements.

Coordination with Saudi authorities is ongoing to facilitate the reception and movement of Qatari pilgrims. Field teams are conducting inspections to ensure compliance with organizational standards across all approved Qatari Hajj campaigns, providing a safe and peaceful environment for pilgrims.

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs emphasizes continuous coordination with Saudi authorities as crucial for the mission's success. It commends Saudi Arabia's efforts in developing the Hajj system, which have enhanced services for global pilgrims.

The Ministry acknowledges that Saudi organizational plans have facilitated official missions, creating an operational environment that enhances the quality of pilgrim services. These efforts allow pilgrims to perform rituals with ease and reassurance.

The Ministry affirms that the Qatari Hajj Mission's support units operate with meticulous coordination and integration, reflecting leadership's commitment to a distinguished Hajj experience for Qatari pilgrims.
