Qatar Engages in Global CSR Forum in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh:The State of Qatar, through its Ministry of Social Development and Family, is actively participating in the second Global CSR Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which commenced on Monday under the theme "From Commitment to Impact." The event gathers a diverse group of ministers, officials, and experts focused on social responsibility.

According to Qatar News Agency, Her Excellency Minister of Social Development and Family, Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, is representing Qatar at the two-day forum. Qatar's involvement underscores its dedication to enhancing the social responsibility framework and fostering collaboration across governmental, private, and non-profit sectors. The forum serves as a platform for exchanging expertise and promoting practices that maximize social impact and support sustainable development.

During the forum, Her Excellency participated in an international ministerial session titled "Promoting CSR at the Global Level," which explored the evolution of social responsibility, the roles of different sectors, and the challenges faced. The session also highlighted successful initiatives, private-sector incentives, and the significance of national indicators in measuring social impact and progress.

Her Excellency shared insights into Qatar's approach to social responsibility, emphasizing national initiatives that encourage community involvement and cross-sector partnerships. These efforts aim to support Qatar's social priorities and advance the Sustainable Development Goals, while also facilitating the exchange of expertise and successful practices with other nations.

On the sidelines of the forum, Her Excellency met with Mahinur Ozdemir, the Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkiye. They discussed cooperation in social work and family affairs, exploring ways to enhance collaboration between the two countries in these areas.
