Qatar Charity receives donation from Qatar Academy Msheireb’s students

Qatar Charity (QC) received school bags along with necessary supplies donated by the students of Qatar Academy Msheireb. The school bags will be distributed to orphans and children from low-income families in Qatar.

This donation, which was suggested by a student at Qatar Academy Msheireb during an Islamic education class, aims to promote community solidarity and support the children with school supplies.

As Qatar Academy Msheireb attaches great attention to instilling Islamic values, including the value of sympathy, in its students, the suggestion came from the student to help those in need of the school bags, said Sana Al-Omar, a teacher at the academy, adding that the initiative was implemented in cooperation with the with parents.

“This initiative was a boost to the units of research that we deal with in the classroom and have linked to Islamic principles,” said Howaida Abu Zinad, another teacher at the academy.

This idea was welcomed by the participating students of Qatar Academy Msheireb. They seemed passionate and joyful while carrying out this humanitarian work.

“Through this initiative, we have transformed the value of empathy into practical behavior on the ground,” said Ali Ahmed bin Khaled, a student at the academy.

Muhammad Al-Qashouti, another student, said he learned to be sympathetic towards others and the community, in accordance with the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) “None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

Qatar Charity thanked Qatar Academy Msheireb for this initiative, which promotes the values of giving and cooperation in the community, hoping that other schools would implement such initiatives to help orphans and children from low-income families.
