Qatar Charity orphans around the world celebrate the Qatari National Day

Qatar Charity orphans worldwide celebrated Qatar National Day, including several cultural activities, entertainment, and sports events.

Celebrations occurred in 11 countries, Somalia, Niger, Pakistan, Tunisia, Ghana, Sudan, Jordan, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia, and Djibouti.

These celebrations were held in the presence of several ambassadors of the State of Qatar, diplomats, members of these embassies, and representatives of civil society organizations.

The participating orphans and their families expressed their congratulations to the State of Qatar on its National Day, wishing it continued prosperity.

Sudan

Through Qatar Charity’s office in Sudan, 500 orphans and their families participated in activities that included scout performances, competitive events, and other activities.

His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan, received the orphans sponsored by Qatar Charity at the Nile International Club and followed with them the Qatar World Cup final between Argentina and France.

The invitation of the Qatari ambassador to the children to follow the matches in the city of Taiba was greatly welcomed by the children and their families, who expressed their congratulations and blessings to the State of Qatar on the Qatari National Day.

Qatar Charity has participated with many Qatari institutions in Sudan by holding distinguished exhibitions during the celebration of the National Day held by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Khartoum, where the Qatar Charity pavilion displayed a documentary film and many models of Qatar Charity projects and activities during more than a quarter of a century of humanitarian giving in Sudan. Somalia

For its part, the Qatar Charity office in Somalia celebrated the Qatari National Day in the presence of the sponsored children who expressed their happiness to participate in this celebration. The children sent a message to Qatar expressing their thanks and gratitude to this country for its support and for always standing with them. During the ceremony, competitions and entertainment activities were held, as the number of orphans exceeded Those sponsored by Qatar Charity are 19 thousand orphans.

Pakistan

In Pakistan, the Qatar Charity office celebrated the National Day in Islamabad with orphans, where His Excellency Mr. Nayef Muhammad Al-Hajri, Third Secretary at the Qatari Embassy in Pakistan, attended the event as the main guest. Parents and civil society activists accompanied the celebration.

On this occasion, a video narrating the history of Qatar was shown, and a drawing competition was held in which children drew the flag of Qatar.

His Excellency Mr. Nayef Mohammed Al-Hajri distributed gifts to the children.

Kosovo

In Kosovo, Qatar Charity celebrated National Day, where 50 orphans and their parents participated in this event, which included entertainment and cultural activities for children, where the Qatari and Kosovar anthems were raised. It also gave a brief lecture on the State of Qatar and its role in charitable work in Kosovo and the world. At the end of the ceremony, gifts were distributed to orphans.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Qatar Charity office in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar. The celebration was attended by 150 people, including female students residing in the female students’ residence of Qatar Charity.

The concert program won the approval of the children and families present, and among the participating children were the new sponsors of Qatar Charity.

As for older students and boys, a documentary film was shown to them highlighting the development and renaissance of the State of Qatar.
