Qatar Charity launched a relief campaign entitled ‘For Palestine’ to meet urgent humanitarian needs in the areas of food security, shelter and health. This is based on its fraternal and humanitarian duty to alleviate the suffering of the affected Palestinian people and to stand by them.
The campaign seeks to contribute to providing fuel for hospitals and vital facilities, and necessary medical treatments for the injured, in addition to food for needy families, and safety and disease prevention needs, in addition to providing blankets and shelter supplies to relieve the families who have lost their homes and are sleeping outdoors.
In this context, Ahmed Yousef Fakhro, Assistant CEO of the Resource Development and Media Sector at Qatar Charity, said: The current difficult humanitarian conditions in Palestine call for solidarity and standing by our brothers there, and supporting humanitarian and relief efforts and bridging the existing gap in the lack of basic needs.
Fakhro urged philanthropists, companies
and commercial institutions in Qatar to support the ‘Qatar Charity’ campaign ‘For Palestine’ so that it can reach the largest number of those affected and meet their urgent humanitarian needs, calling for solidarity with our brothers in Palestine, noting that our support for our brothers in Palestine today is more important. Ever since, we pray to God – the Almighty – to accept from the spenders, accept from them their good deeds, and repel all evil from them.
