Qatar Charity delivers wheelchairs to the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy

Based on its social responsibility; Qatar Charity has handed over 63 wheelchairs to the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy to facilitate the movement of elderly and disabled FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ fans, and to facilitate their access to the match areas.

Al-Nama praised Qatar Charity’s efforts in the field of community service, saying: “It is not strange for Qatar Charity to undertake such initiatives, as it is one of the most prominent truly active institutions in society, especially on the humanitarian level, and this initiative is a true reflection of the social and humanitarian role.

At the end of his statement, Al-Nama described Qatar Charity’s initiative as valuable, especially as it contributes significantly to improving operational processes in the vicinity of the World Cup stadiums and encouraging the participating teams.

Al-Hajri confirmed Qatar Charity’s keenness to make the World Cup a success in cooperation with state institutions and relevant authorities, and noted the previous cooperation between the two parties, pointing out that the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy provided volunteers to Qatar Charity last Ramadan to contribute to the implementation of Ramadan projects, especially the Iftar project. He expressed his hope that this cooperation will continue and grow further in the coming periods.

At the end of his statement, he expressed Qatar Charity’s readiness in the future to provide the committee with the wheelchairs it needs, according to its request.
