Qatar Chamber’s Health Committee Discusses Enhancing Private Health Sector Business Environment

DOHA — The Health Committee of the Qatar Chamber recently convened a meeting, led by QC board member and committee chairperson, Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani. The meeting discussed various topics pertinent to the operation of clinics and private health centers, focusing on improving the business environment for the private health sector.

According to a new release by Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures including Mohamed Hassan Al Malki, Assistant Undersecretary for Commerce Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), and Ayed Al Qahtani, Director of the Commercial Registration and Licenses Department at MoCI. Al Ahmadani noted the committee’s aim to hold frequent meetings with relevant authorities to improve communication. Mohamed Al Malki emphasized the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to engage and collaborate with the Chamber, while Ayed Al Qahtani stressed the continuous review of licensing procedures in the private health sector for improvements.
