Doha: In its editorial, Al-Watan highlighted that the Cabinet of Qatar has renewed the country's strongest condemnation of the Houthi's targeting of civilian and economic facilities in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in injuries to civilians. The Cabinet emphasized that these attacks violate the Kingdom's sovereignty, international law, and represent a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the editorial also noted that the Cabinet reiterated Qatar's condemnation of the ongoing Iranian attacks on Kuwait. These actions are seen as violations of Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and breaches of international law, the United Nations Charter, and principles of good-neighborliness. The Cabinet affirmed the indivisibility of Gulf Cooperation Council states' security and expressed Qatar's solidarity with its Gulf neighbors in confronting threats to their security, sovereignty, and stability.

The editorial concluded by urging an immediate return to the Memorandum of Understanding provisions, a cessation of hostilities, guarantees for safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and the preservation of regional security, noting that the repercussions of these conflicts extend globally.

Meanwhile, The Peninsula newspaper reported on the evolving diplomatic ties between Guyana and Qatar, marked by growing cooperation in investment, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and tourism. These bilateral relations have strengthened significantly over the past six years as Guyana experienced rapid economic and social transformation.

The leaders of Qatar and Guyana recently held talks in Doha to discuss enhancing relations, particularly in investment. A memorandum of understanding was signed to bolster cooperation in agriculture and technology. The Peninsula highlighted that Guyana's emergence as a major energy producer has opened new economic possibilities, with Qatar poised to contribute capital, technology, and expertise.

The editorial further explained that the cooperation between the two countries extends beyond oil, with significant opportunities in agriculture, infrastructure, tourism, hospitality, health, technology, climate security, and human capital development.

Additionally, Al-Arab's editorial praised Qatar Airways for its leading position in the global aviation industry, achieved through coordinated efforts across various teams, including maintenance, engineering, and operations. The airline's operational facilities serve over 160 destinations, with plans to increase flights to nearly 1,800 per week by December.

The editorial noted the importance of Qatar Airways' aircraft maintenance facility, which spans an area equivalent to 13 football fields, reflecting significant investment in infrastructure and expertise. It also highlighted the increasing presence of young Qatari professionals in leadership roles, benefiting from international knowledge transfer, which aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030's focus on national human capital investment.
