Doha: Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight itinerary to and from Doha in the coming days, aimed at assisting passengers affected by regional disruptions. This decision aligns with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority's (QCAA) statement on the partial resumption of air navigation via designated emergency air corridors.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Airways will operate a series of flights from Doha to multiple international destinations. On March 13, flights are scheduled to Perth (PER), Seoul (ICN), Dhaka (DAC), Jeddah (JED), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Bangkok (BKK), Kochi (COK), Algiers (ALG), Miami (MIA), Istanbul (IST), Cairo (CAI), Amsterdam (AMS), London (LHR), Milan (MXP), and Paris (CDG). On the following days, flights will cover routes to and from cities including Riyadh (RUH), Muscat (MCT), Shanghai (PVG), Manila (MNL), Johannesburg (JNB), Dallas (DFW), and more.
The national carrier has also detailed specific flights arriving into Doha. On March 13, flights are set to arrive from Amsterdam (AMS), London (LHR), Milan (MXP), and Paris (CDG). The schedule extends to March 17, with flights arriving from locations such as Perth (PER), Muscat (MCT), Seoul (ICN), Bangkok (BKK), and others. Passengers can verify updates and bookings on the Qatar Airways website, app, or through travel agents.
Qatar Airways clarified that these operations do not signify a full resumption of scheduled services. The airline advises passengers to only travel to the airport with a confirmed ticket. The continuation of temporary flight suspensions is due to the closure of Qatari airspace, with operations set to resume upon approval from relevant authorities and the QCAA's announcement of safe airspace reopening.
