Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Nechirvan Barzani, HE Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and HE President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Masoud Barzani, on the passing of Abdulwahid Ibrahim Sheikh Abdulsalam Barzani, the elder brother of the Barzani family.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed his sympathies to the leaders of the Kurdistan Region, acknowledging the loss within the Barzani family. The condolences were directed towards the leaders who hold significant positions in the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
