Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a significant telephone conversation with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmed Al Sabah. The conversation focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing recent regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts and coordinated initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions and promoting security and stability in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the necessity for all involved parties to commit to dialogue and diplomacy. He highlighted the importance of implementing the agreements outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, including ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and maintaining regional security. His Excellency reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for efforts directed at de-escalation and achieving a comprehensive agreement fostering sustainable peace in the region.
