Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a telephone conversation with HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud.

According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue focused on the cooperative relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and explored ways to support and strengthen these ties. The discussion also covered regional developments, particularly the ceasefire between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both leaders emphasized efforts aimed at de-escalation to enhance security and stability in the region.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for all parties to respond positively to ongoing mediation efforts. This response is seen as a pivotal step towards addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, ultimately leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
