Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani recently engaged in a phone conversation with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah. The discussion primarily revolved around enhancing bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Kuwait, as well as exploring strategies to bolster these ties further.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation extended to cover mediation efforts concerning the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both leaders emphasized the importance of coordinating actions to support mediation processes aimed at mitigating tensions, thereby contributing to regional security and stability.

Furthermore, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the necessity for all involved parties to engage with ongoing mediation initiatives. This engagement, he noted, is crucial for addressing the fundamental issues of the crisis through peaceful dialogue, ultimately leading to a long-lasting agreement that would prevent future escalations.
