Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, along with senior United States officials, engaged in a joint telephone call with HE President of the Lebanese Republic Joseph Aoun. The focus of the call was to discuss initiatives to reinforce the ceasefire in Lebanon and enhance regional stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation occurred during the Lake Lucerne Summit and included key figures such as HE Vice President of the United States of America J.D. Vance, HE Senior Advisor to the US President Jared Kushner, and HE US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff. The dialogue centered on diplomatic efforts to solidify Lebanon's ceasefire, leveraging the momentum from the recent memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Participants assessed strategies to utilize the renewed diplomatic engagement to further regional security and stability initiatives.
