Prime Minister and Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Discuss Regional Stability

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Hakan Fidan, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation relations and explored ways to strengthen and enhance them.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also addressed the latest regional developments, particularly ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and promoting security and stability in the region. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties remaining committed to dialogue and diplomacy. He highlighted the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which includes ensuring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to safeguard regional security, preserve achievements, and promote regional stability.

His Excellency reaffirmed the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at defusing tensions and reaching a comprehensive agreement that would achieve lasting peace in the region.
