Doha: HE President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani arrived in Doha on Tuesday to offer condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. His Excellency's visit underscores the strong ties and mutual respect between Mauritania and Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani and HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the State of Qatar Mohamed Mohamed Abdullah Bebane. The visit highlights the importance of diplomatic relations and the shared cultural and political bonds between the two nations.
