Doha: HE President of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Muizzu arrived in Doha on Monday to offer condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. His Excellency's visit marks a gesture of respect and solidarity with the Qatari leadership and people.

According to Qatar News Agency, the President of Maldives was accompanied by a delegation and was received at Hamad International Airport by HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani and HE Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the State of Qatar Adam Shareef Umar. The visit underscores the strong bilateral relations between the Maldives and Qatar.
