Doha: The preparatory meeting for the first session of the Joint Supreme Committee between the State of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Somalia was convened in Doha on Wednesday. The meeting aimed to set the groundwork for the collaborative efforts between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by HE Director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nayef bin Abdullah Al Emadi. The Somali delegation was headed by HE Director of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Hassan Mohamed. Both parties engaged in discussions on various topics of mutual interest, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation.
The meeting marks a significant step towards fostering a stronger partnership between Qatar and Somalia. The Joint Supreme Committee aims to address common goals and challenges, paving the way for future collaborations in different sectors.
