Mechanical engineering honor society, Pi Tau Sigma Beta Zeta chapter at Texas A&M at Qatar held their annual initiation recently where 20 new students were inducted and 14 current members received their stoles and cords.

The new executive committee was also introduced at the event:

President: Hassan Khan

Vice President: Mohammed Shaaban

Secretary Treasurer: Adnan Ebrik

Outreach Officer: Rahaf Homssi

Project Manager: Hamza Ahmed

Pi Tau Sigma is the international mechanical honors society, where top students are chosen to take part in lifelong experiences and opportunities. The selection for Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honors is competitive and only the top 33% of seniors and 25% of juniors are inducted every year.

The executive committee announced that Pi Tau Sigma Beta Zeta chapter at Texas A&M at Qatar will be hosting numerous activities in the near future, including an industry networking event for its members and seminars featuring experts in the field. Member representatives will also participate Pi Tau Sigma global events.
