Team Qatar's Bassem Hamida concluded his participation in the 400 meter hurdles race at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Today, Hamida competed in the second round of the 400 meters hurdles, recording a time of 49.64 seconds. However, he did not qualify for the final, marking the end of his participation in the ongoing Summer Olympics in France. Despite being eliminated from the tournament, Hamida achieved his personal best record during tis season. Hamida expressed his optimism for the future, noting that he faced significant challenges with injuries this season, which impacted his preparation. Nevertheless, he managed to overcome the injury, competed in the Olympics, and set his best time of the season.
