Khan younis: A Palestinian was martyred and others were wounded Monday by Israeli occupation forces in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that a Palestinian was martyred and others were wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on a World Health Organization (WHO) vehicle and another commercial vehicle near Street 5 in Khan Younis. The sources confirmed that the martyred individual was a driver for the WHO in Gaza and was subsequently transferred to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.
The latest incident adds to the grim statistics, with the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rising to 72,302 martyrs and 172,090 wounded since October 7, 2023. Despite a ceasefire agreement that came into effect in October 2025, the Israeli entity continues to violate the terms by executing air and artillery strikes on various locations across the Gaza Strip.
