Palestinian Martyred in Israeli Drone Strike on Displacement Camp in Khan Younis

Khan younis: A Palestinian was martyred on Wednesday after an Israeli drone strike carried out by the occupation army targeted the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources reported that the drone struck a tent in the 'Ghaith' camp for displaced people in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis. Occupation vehicles also opened fire east of the city, escalating tensions in the region.

Israeli helicopters also intensified their fire toward Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, contributing to the increasing violence in the area. The incidents have further fueled the ongoing conflict between Israeli forces and Palestinian residents.

Since the ceasefire last October, the number of martyrs has risen to 1,303, with 4,336 people injured. During the same period, 814 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble, highlighting the severe impact of the ongoing hostilities.

Since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,438 martyrs, with 174,447 injured, underscoring the grave humanitarian crisis faced by the Palestinian population in the region.
