Ramallah:Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh met with French envoy Andre Baran to discuss recent developments affecting the Palestinian territories, including the ongoing suffering in Gaza and an increase in settler attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered preparations for the upcoming legislative and presidential elections. Both parties emphasized the importance of ensuring Palestinian participation in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza, alongside international peace efforts.

Additionally, the meeting addressed strategies to strengthen bilateral relations between Palestine and France, support for reforms, and the development of Palestinian state institutions.
