Doha: The Pakistan military, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police have killed 88 militants this month during a security operation in Balochistan province, according to a military statement on Wednesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement mentioned that security forces eliminated three militants during Operation Shaban, which was initiated after the attack on the Mangi Dam Police Station in Ziarat. The operation involved airstrikes and ground raids targeting militant hideouts in the region.

The military reported that since July 5, 2026, a total of 126 militants have been neutralized through combined security and intelligence operations across Balochistan.

The military emphasized that Operation Shaban will persist throughout Balochistan until all militants are eradicated. In recent months, Balochistan has experienced ongoing armed conflicts between militant groups and security personnel in the area.
