According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides exchanged views on current regional and international situations, focusing on diplomatic efforts to ensure the continuation of maritime movement in the Strait of Hormuz. This strategic waterway is crucial for global trade and energy supply.

The ministers reaffirmed the importance of adopting practical approaches to ensure maritime security and freedom. They emphasized safeguarding the flow of trade and energy supplies in accordance with international law. Additionally, both highlighted the significance of promoting positive cooperation, peaceful coexistence, and good neighborliness between all countries bordering the Gulf.
