Oil Prices Increase as Brent Crude Anticipates Significant Monthly Gains

Doha:Oil prices rose on Wednesday following a previous session decline due to a recovery in crude supply from the Middle East.

According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude futures increased by $1.14, or 1.11%, reaching $103.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude saw a smaller rise of 34 cents, or 0.38%, bringing the price to $89.72.

Brent is poised for a monthly gain of approximately 14%, marking its largest increase since July. In contrast, WTI is on course for a 4% rise, having surpassed $106 for the first time since May. Additionally, the spread between the two benchmarks widened to its broadest in four months.
