Oil Prices Decline Amid Increased Middle Eastern Exports and G7 Reserve Releases

Doha:First paragraph of the news story. Oil prices fell on Monday due to increased crude exports from the Middle East and the Group of Seven's planned release of emergency reserves, reducing concerns about supply and affecting market prices.

According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude futures decreased by 66 cents, or 0.65%, settling at $101.59 per barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude saw a drop of 95 cents, or 1.03%, reaching $90.12 per barrel.

Brent crude relinquished most of last week's gains, while WTI declined by 1.6% following the G7 countries' agreement on Friday to release 100 million barrels of crude and diesel from emergency reserves.
