The number of martyrs as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation forces aggression on the Gaza Strip since yesterday has risen to 256 Palestinians, with 1,788 injured, in addition to extensive damage to residential buildings, apartments, civilian properties and infrastructure.

Citing medical sources, (WAFA) news agency said 24 Palestinians were martyred early this morning, with dozens more injured, in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting inhabited homes and residential buildings across the besieged Gaza Strip.

At least 14 civilians, including women and children, were martyred in one of the Israeli airstrikes which targeted a home of a family in the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

Occupation warplanes also destroyed homes, reducing them to rubble, in several cities across the Gaza Strip, from Rafah in the south to Beit Hanoun in the north. The airstrikes have caused extensive damage to infrastructure in all the areas targeted, including hospitals, schools, and public and private ins
titutions.

The Israeli aggression against Gaza continues for the second consecutive day, claiming more lives and causing casualties among innocent civilians, while also leaving a trail of destruction in their homes and properties as well as public institutions.
